Toronto's Big Small Business Mayoral Debate


The event will be held at the Royal York Hotel on September 24, from 8 a.m. to 11a.m. Attendance is free. This event is hosted by CFIB, sponsored by the National Post and supported by the Empire Club of Canada.

8:00-8:30a.m: Registration and free continental breakfast
8:30-9:45a.m: Debate on small business issues
9:45-10:15a.m: Questions from the floor
10:15-11:00a.m.: Mingle with the candidates

Mayoral candidates in attendance: Rob Ford, Joe Pantalone, Rocco Rossi, George Smitherman, and Sarah Thomson

It is an important time for small- and medium-size business in Toronto. In just a few short weeks, Torontonians will be voting for a new mayor and council who will be responsible for policies that directly affect you. For this reason, CFIB is putting the spotlight on the candidates’ small business platforms with an event that brings the candidates to you.
