  5. Keep learning by attending business seminars, conferences and reading books
  6. Develop a habit of regularly meeting with successful entrepreneurs
  7. Learn to delegate
  8. Learn to outsource
  9. Learn to network
  10. Spend 70% of your time on marketing and selling
  11. Look after your existing customers but don’t stop looking for new ones
  12. Employ the best possible people
  13. Listen to your customers and employees
  14. Travel as often as possible. Some of your best ideas come to you when you’re travelling.
  15. Take regular vacations
  16. Develop a good relationship with your suppliers and bankers
  17. Know your monthly break-even
  18. Monitor your profit margins – go for profit rather than sales, but watch the cash flow

  21. If you have a great business name trademark it
