What Women Want

I will be presenting a paper at the International Council for Small Business conference in Halifax on June 24th, 2008. My topic will be how to train female entrepreneurs to succeed. I believe with my experience training some very successful female entrepreneurs for 10 years, I have some ideas on what works. Some of my students include: Business Woman of the Year, Marketing Person or the Year, Awesome Women of the Year and more.

Let’s say you were given the opportunity to develop the perfect training program for female entrepreneurs what would you include? Please send you me your ideas to andrew@bizlaunch.ca

Some subjects you may consider including:

  1. What it takes to succeed in your own business
  2. How to develop a business vision
  3. How to develop a business plan you can work with
  4. How to market your products and services
  5. How to get sales
  6. How to calculate what sales you need to make to survive and grow your business
  7. How to price your products or services
  8. How to raise capital
  9. How to manage your cash flow
  10. How to keep yourself motivated

Most important on-going coaching, networking and mentorship.

  1. Hey Andrew! I am amazed and ecstatic to hear that you will be speaking to my fellow businesswomen at a prestigious event. I am sad though, since I won’t be able to attend. Any chance your keynote speech will be available online? I would love to be able to view it! Currently, I’m an official Microsoft ambassador and right now we’re really trying to scale up our connections with influential bloggers like yourself. I’d love to share with you some of the stuff we’ve been doing in the last couple months to help women entrepreneurs; we’re really committed to providing all the necessary resources to help women start, grow and expand their business. We just wrapped up a women’s entrepreneurial tour across the US called “Vision To Venture;” the response and turn-out was great! I’d really love your take on these offerings we have right now; I would have contacted you via email but I didn’t know which was the best way to reach you. Thank you so much, I hope I didn’t overstep my bounds by directly contacting you. Definitely get back to me if I’ve piqued your interest– I’d love to share more info with you.Best,Tanya M.Official Microsoft Ambassadort-middleton@live.com
