  4. Please describe exactly what your business does and your target market (ideal customer)

    I am an Office and Home Organizer and my target market small offices and home offices (SOHO).Recently I have met a couple of Real Estate Agents and am now doing Home Staging as well.

  5. What makes your business different? What is that you do that makes your business unique

    I make my business different, my main goal is to make my customers feel comfortable with the changes that they are making. Getting organized is and can be a very emotional experience for some people. I need to show compassion and understanding at all times.

  6. Why did you decide to start your own business? How did you get into your particular business? (i.e., saw a market need, discovered my passion, found a partner, etc.)

    I decided to start my own business because every job that I have been in has been an unorganized mess when I started and runs like clockwork when I am finished there. I found that once everything flowed properly I quickly became bored with the job and moved on to another one. I definitely discovered my passion, I LOVE what I do!!

  7. What’s the best part of being an entrepreneur?

    The best part for me is having my own say of what and when I will do things.

  8. What’s the worst part of being and entrepreneur?

    Sometimes I have to work late hours

  9. How long have you been in business?

    In July I will be celebrating 1 year in business.

  10. How did you raise the start-up cash?

    Because my business is mobile (I work in people’s homes and mainly home offices) I was lucky enough to not have to raise start up cash. My regular pay cheque has been enough to cover my expenses.

  11. Identify and discuss a few lessons you’ve learned as an entrepreneur?

    Find the right advertising mediums and network, network, network. Every time you go somewhere you have another networking opportunity and a chance at new business!

  12. What advice would you give to an aspiring entrepreneur?

    Follow your dreams and never give up. You can do this. The number one thing I learned is love what you do, people will see your passion!

  13. Briefly, what are your goals and plans for the future?

    My goals for the future are to expand my business so I can hire a couple of people. I seem to do impromptu interviews whenever I meet someone, I am always on the lookout for who would be a great addition to my team.

  14. Any other information or advice you’d like to share?

    Just remember to love what you do, that is what makes it worthwhile getting up in the morning.
